Come Dine-with-a-Prof this semester and interact in an intimate setting with Harvard Extension professors teaching on a range of topics related to international relations.
The honorary dinner guest for this dinner is Dr. Houchang Chehabi who currently teaches “Turkey, Iran, and Afghanistan since 1918” at the Harvard Extension School.
ABOUT DR. HOUCHANG CHEHABI
Professor Houchang Chehabi was born in Tehran, Iran, to a German mother and an Iranian father. He received his undergraduate education in France, and his PhD at Yale University. He has taught at Harvard, UCLA, the University of St. Andrews, and Boston University, and has published numerous books and articles, most of which are on Iranian history and politics. His publications include Iranian Politics and Religious Modernism and Distant Relations: Iran and Lebanon in the Last 500 Years. He has edited five books, most recently Iran's Constitutional Revolution: Politics, Cultural Transformations, and Transnational Connections.
