Dilara S. Duarte Correia born on June 7, 1995 in the Netherlands came to the United States with her mom in hopes of a better life. Her mother’s dream has always been to give her daughter the opportunity to go to college and to build a meaningful and successful future for herself.
At the tender age of four, Dilara had a desire to care for animals. Raised as an only child she found comfort in the companionship of her pets. Over the years Dilara always wanted to help rescued animals. She knew early on in her life that she wanted to make a difference in the world while helping all type of animals. She wants to study zoology. Becoming a successful zoologist will allot her the opportunity to travel and work with animals in their natural habitat.
She has a deep compassion for animals and wants to work with them one on one and there transition in life. As a child Dilara loved all animals and it never mattered whether the animal was a dog, cat, or bird. Dilara has a loving spirit for all things that breathe life. In addition to her caring nature, Dilara is also very intelligent and focused on whatever she puts her mind to. Her independent attitude and responsible behavior has earned her Valedictorian and shows just one way in which she has deemed herself worthy to be recognized.
A now graduate of Renaissance High School for the Arts in Long Beach, she does not plan to stop there. Clearly UC Santa Barbara has made a wise choice in their acceptance of Dilara and she will be in attendance this coming fall. However, college is an expensive addition to further ones education. As she journeys on to college there will be numerous financial hurdles that will present themselves. These include: Tuition, books, supplies, toiletries, necessities, transportation, health fees, housing, etc.
Your Ticket Purchase will go towards Dilara's College tuition.
On her behalf, any donation toward her college career will be greatly appreciated and would be an honorable investment.
Thank you for your support and for helping Dilara making her dreams come true!!!
