Color Science is an often-discussed topic today and something that every modern cinematographer and editor should understand. Part of the Digital Technician series, this workshop goes into the theory and reality of color. The workshop covers how color is created both in our eyes and in the digital world. Topics include color space, color gamut, subsampling, bit depth, and understanding luminance. To bring in more real world application, special attention is paid to the color systems used in the latest cameras.
