does it really mean for the future of news?
Please join a nitty-gritty conversation with two executives who are
building Digital First futures for their print companies: John Paton,
CEO of Digital First Media (and CEO of Journal Register and MediaNews) and
Justin Smith, president of Atlantic Media.
Jeff Jarvis, director of the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial
Journalism at CUNY's Graduate School of Journalism, will question both
men and lead a discussion with the audience drilling down to the
specifics of how they are executing their strategies, covering
content, revenue, costs, staffing, and the transition. Paton and Smith
are the talk of the industry as they build bold new strategies for
news and content.
