Digital Design: Prepping Photos for Print

Interested in trying your hand at surface design using PicMonkey? Please join us in the Greenhouse as graphic designer Allie Tate instructs a two-hour digital design workshop on how to prep a photograph for printing on fabric or paper. Each participant will walk away from class with the knowledge and tools to easily translate any photograph into digitally printed fabric or paper-- perfect for sewing up a pillow or tea towel or making a custom greeting card or personalized gift wrap! Oh, the possibilities are endless!
To participate in this class, you will need:
- a laptop computer
- an digital file of a photograph (this could be a digital photo or a scanned photo)
Please note that we will have a scanner available prior to class if you need to scan an image here.
This class will be offered on-site in the Greenhouse, our classroom and community space here in Durham, NC. This class is open to teens through adults with basic computer skills. No previous digital design experience is necessary.
