Description of Workshop:

This weekend workshop in picturesque Delray Beach, Florida is designed to give you a good understanding of how to make better photographs by experimenting with composition, lighting and post processing. Based on positive comments from past participants, we have designed a program that will help you maximize your shooting and processing time. As with all Rick’s workshops, we maintain a positive atmosphere to help make learning fun! In addition, working side-by-side with Rick and other photographers is sure to boost your creative thinking. After our photography and processing sessions, the workshop will conclude with a group slide show and critique –which is a very important part of the workshop.

Workshop Schedule:

Friday, Jan. 30 6 PM – Welcome dinner on the Ave (cost not included)

Saturday, Jan. 31 9 – 11 AM – Meet at Wakodahatchee Wetlands; work on bird

and scenic photography

Lunch Break (cost not included)

1 – 3 PM – HDR shoot at Colony Hotel

3 – 5 PM – Processing session

Sunday, Feb. 1 10 – 11:30 AM – Meet at Butterfly World; work on macro photos

Lunch Break (cost not included)

1 – 3:30 PM – Processing session at Colony Hotel

3:30 – 5 PM – Group slide show

6 PM – Group dinner (optional, cost not included)

Payment Schedule:

The cost for the weekend workshop is $600 per person; space is limited to 8 participants. A $200 non-refundable deposit is due to reserve your space. The balance of $400 is due on November 30. Partial refunds will be made for cancellations received on or before December 30. Sorry, no refunds on or after December 31, 2014, but fees paid can be applied to another workshop.

A follow-up memo with schedule details, meeting locations, recommended gear and a liability release will be sent to registered participants
