Event Details

The on-ice sessions will be focussed on skill development and high tempo game situations following the USA Hockey ADM model of player development.

Off-ice, we seek to educate young girls about women's issues, leadership, antibullying, how to interact with coaches, how to be a good teammate ,and bystander leadership, as well as how to navigate the college search process (for the high school aged girls).

THE STAFF:
Digit Murphy - Current head coach and GM of the Boston Blades women's pro hockey team in the CWHL. Coach Murphy coached at the NCAA Division I level for 24 years and became the winningest coach ever during her tenure at Brown University. She has been a longtime advocate for women and women's issues.

Ryan Stone - Current Assistant Coach of the Boston Blades and head coach of Milton Academy Girls Hockey. Coach Stone has 17 years of NCAA coaching experience as both a head and assistant coach at the Division I and Division III level.

Blake Bolden -  This year's camp features former Boston College standout and current Boston Blade Blake Bolden. Blake has attended numerous USAH national camps and won gold with the 2008 and 2009 U18 teams. She finished her time at BC ranking second all-time for BC defensemen in points (82), goals (26) and assists (56). She also ranks seventh overall in career plus/minus (+55). As a senior captain in 2013, Bolden was named Hockey East Defenseman of the Year, First-Team Hockey East All-Star, a New England All-Star and a Second-Team All-American.
