In this age of Gluten Free and Raw Food Diets, questions surrounding what to eat can be confusing. Gastrointestinal Health is so crucial for all wellbeing and even for immunity to disease.

Digestive health is a mega-trend moving beyond the tipping point. This is why there’s so much interest in topics such as Crohn’s disease, prebiotics, probiotics, diverticular disease, constipation, ulcers, Irritable Bowell Syndrome (IBS) and others.  On top of this interest, there is more concern in promoting healthy intestinal micro flora balance, which has been associated with inhibiting the growth of harmful bacteria, promoting good digestion and boosting immune function.

Learn new approaches to managing your symptoms such as gas, bloaating and other digestive problems caused by food allergies, Irritable Bowell Syndrome. Some commonly held myths and new approaches to help your condition will be reviewed.

Our speakers will help cut through the extraneous information and myths to help you understand your body and the unique needs of your gastrointestinal health and digestion.

Our FREE Digestion and GI Health Workshop Discusses:

  • How Detoxification can quickly uncover what foods are causing the problems
  • How to increase the flora in your intestine and other tricks to help your digestion and increase absorption of vital nutrients
  • How to eat right to flatten your belly and feel great all day long.

This FREE GI Health Workshop will be led by Elson M. Haas, MD, noted author and Director of Preventive Medical Center of Marin, Michael Rosenbaum, MD, a nutritional physician and Janara Iman, nutritionist.

Join the PMCM GI Health Team To Help You Get Back On Track With Your GI Health.

PMCM uses a wide variety of safe and effective therapies to both treat health problems and balance the body. We also provide the latest in innovative health assessments beyond typical Western Medicine lab tests, which we also do thoroughly. These newer tests include vitamin and mineral assays for nutritional adequacy; food allergy tests for both immune (antibody) and cell reactions as well as intradermal (skin) allergy testing; saliva and blood measurement of hormone levels; and other tests to look more deeply for problems as well as view the energetic and ionic balance in the body.

PMCM offers a multidisciplinary spectrum of healthcare services and products. Patients and practitioners work together to design choices and create options for the treatment of health problems. This differs markedly from “conventional” approaches (modern Western), which may support one way of thinking and one system of medicine, in contrast to employing traditional” healing systems such as nutrition, body therapy and herbal and homeopathic medicines. PMCM is responsive to the desires and interests of its patients for integrative and preventive therapeutic alternatives, and for practitioners who understand both allopathic and natural medical approaches.

PMCM is also the only "alternative" or "integrated" center in the North Bay Area that works within the insurance system, utilizing a wide variety of organizations and health plans, including Aetna, Blue Shield and Blue Cross, United Health Care, Medicare and others.
