Get the secrets of California's farm-to-fork movement at this special event featuring a panel discussion with leaders in related industries moderated by Museum Trustee Kitty O'Neal on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at The California Museum!
Panelists, who will discuss the pros and cons of the movement in retail, restaurant and non-profit sectors, include: Darrell Corti, President of Corti Brothers; Shawn Harrison, Founder of Soil Born Farms; Craig McNamara, President of Sierra Orchards & Founder of Center For Land Based Learning; and Kurt Spataro, Executive Chef of Paragary's Restaurant Group.
Following the panel discussion, a farm-to-fork fair in the Museum’s courtyard featuring local vendors will provide small bites, beverage samples & hands-on demonstrations from vendors including:
Plus take a guided tour of Dig It! The Secrets of Soil, a national traveling exhibit designed by Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, and explore the Museum's current exhibits including Health Happens Here exploring factors affecting life expectancy like food access and California’s Remarkable Women featuring California cuisine pioneer Alice Waters.
Free parking for all attendees beginning at 5:30 pm in the Museum's surface street lot on the corner of 10th and O Streets.

Do I need to bring a printed copy of my ticket?
Yes, please bring a copy of the tickets emails to you to the event to expediate entry. Attendees without a printed ticket may experience a delay in entry while registration is verified.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes. Guests of all ages are welcome, however only attendees with a valid California ID ages 21 and up may consume beer and wine.
What are my transportation and parking options the event?
The Museum is conveniently located at the Archives Plaza stop for Regional Transits Light Rail service, and parking will be available for attendees beginning at 5:30 pm in the surface street lot directly across the street form the Museum on the corner of 10th & O Streets. Follow the signs to enter lot.
Can I bring a camera to the event and take photographs?
Photographs on the Museum's premises are allowed for personal use only taken by handheld cameras and mobile devices like a cell phone and tablet with the flash off. No professional cameras or flash photography are allowed. Guests who bring a professional camera will be asked to store it during the event in the public lockers located in the basement, and guests who use a professional camera at the event will be asked to leave.

Is my ticket transferrable?
Yes. Please bring a copy of the printed ticket with you to expedite entry to the event.
Can I get if a refund if I have to cancel my registration?
Guests who cancel their registration by 5:00 pm on September 8 will receive a refund minus Eventbrite ticket fees. No refunds provided for online ticket sales after 5:00 pm on September 8.
