Dig In! Slow Food National Volunteer Day: SF Food Bank
Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, CA
We are working with the Slow Food Chapters locally and across the
nation, to reach out to our communities and get some work done! This
will be a single day event to gather together and volunteer with in each
The event at the SF Food Bank is one of the two options for volunteering
with the Slow Food SF chapter.
PLEASE NOTE: Space is limited so please let us know if you cannot make it.
- Closed-toe shoes are required at all volunteer projects. Anyone wearing sandals, flip-flops, or any other shoe with an open toe will not be able to participate in the project.
- Because you'll be helping to repack food, please wear casual and clean clothing, long pants, securely fastened jewelry, and comfortable (no open-toe) shoes.
- We suggest dressing in layers, as the temperature in the warehouse is often cool.
WHERE TO REPORT: We ask all volunteers to sign in upon arrival.
- Pease enter the building through our Receiving Entrance on the south side of the building near the loading dock
