Join us for a discussion of Dickens's twelfth novel: “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” The book with perhaps the most famous opening line in the English language, A Tale of Two Cities is Dickens's second historical novel, published weekly in Dickens's new journal All the Year Round. It is set in London and Paris against the backdrop of the French Revolution.
