Dialog and Friendship Dinner & Award Ceremony
Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM (PST)
The Annual Dialog and Friendship Dinner is held every year where people of all cultures, backgrounds and faiths gather to share their thoughts on the chosen topic of the year. This year, our theme will be “The role of civil society in building a stronger, more peaceful world”.
This dinner is a fairly large event that is comprised of community leaders, political leaders, academics and others. The Nile Foundation will also publicly recognize outstanding achievements of those who have distinguished themselves in their profession and service to society by generously contributing their time, energy, expertise, and financial resources. The awards are based on a variety of themes, including public and community service, peace and dialog, educational involvement, and media service.
Award recipients for the night are The Honorable Teresa Jacobs, Orange County Mayor; Dr. John Hitt, President, University of Central Florida; Dr. Joel C. Hunter, Senior Pastor, Northland Church, “Friends Talking Faith with The Three Wise Guys” Radio Show, Rev. Bryan G. Fulwider, Rabbi Steven W. Engel and Imam Musri.
