by the author of “Staying Healthy in the Fast Lane” Kirk Hamilton PA-C. Adverse reactions to foods can be triggered any food. From migraine headaches, to chest pain, to arthritis to irritable bowel syndrome food can cause these symptoms and more. For 30 years Kirk Hamilton a certified physician assistant has been using in his medical practice some form of the BED Diet (basic elimination diet) to help patients discover what foods are causing adverse symptoms. This talk will not only go over how to shop for and implement this diet, and reintroduce foods using a diet-symptom diary, but will also go over conditions that can affect your reactions to foods such as your allergic load; overgrowth of bacteria in your gut; poor digestions; and medications to name a few. Also discussed will be the concept of detoxification, what it means and can this help with food reactions. Kirk will demonstrate a simple, common “low allergy” Mexican meal tostadas and simple berry, nuts and “cream” dessert. You will also receive a copy of Kirk’s book “Staying Healthy in the Fast Lane” which includes chapters on “Food Intolerance and Allergies,  “Allergic Load and Detoxification” and Appendices on “Anti-inflammatory
