Join a pedal-powered celebration of Detroit and the DIA's Inside│Out program, which features twelve reproductions of works from the museum's permanent collection, located outdoors along the Detroit Riverwalk, Dequindre Cut, and Eastern Market. Riders will savor mechanical, musical, and poetic moments along the way. The 8.5 mile tour begins at the DIA @ 9:00 am on Saturday, October 15, and returns to the DIA by noon, where participants can view the original works and receive an exclusive sneak preview of the new photography exhibition Detroit Revealed with curator Nancy Barr (Associate Curator, Prints, Drawings and Photographs) at 1pm. The bicycle tour is free, and includes discounted admission for museum entry. Helmets are mandatory. Special thanks to Detroit Bikes, Inside Out Literary Arts Project, The Hub of Detroit and Wheelhouse Detroit for their help in organizing this ride.
