For Immediate Release: Boston, April 7, 2011
We are proud to announce the new photographer of choice for the upcoming 2011-2012 Fall-Winter fashion collection. Dave O'connor, an architectural, fine art, and fashion photographer from Arlington, Massachusetts. “I consider it a pleasure and an honor to work with such a raw talent, who is able to capture larger scenarios while focusing on small details. This is what attracted me to Dave’s work, and having an architectural approach to fashion is a concept I have been wanting to explore for some time,” said Daniel Hernández, Founder/President of DH Studios Inc.
O'connor has spent the last five years documenting his photographic life on his website: desolatemetropolis.com. Beginning with scenes of architectural decay in the Northeast, he has travelled the country to document urban ruins and capture the fading memories of industrial revolution era America, in digital media and on film. Always continuing to develop his architectural work, in the last few years, he has expanded his aesthetic into fine art model and fashion photography. "Collaborating with DH Studios Inc to photograph the 2011-12 collection is a new creative challenge for me. The scope of the project is huge, however I believe that our combined creative energy should allow us to produce compelling images that showcase the artistry of Daniel Hernández’s designs." Replied O’connor.
Both parties, DH Studios Inc and O’connor, have signed a seasonal contract for the year 2011. Expect to see a great collaboration of fashion, architecture and beauty that will push the envelope in visuals from web to print. This journey will also be part of a video presented at the opening of the show, on September , 2011, during the fall Boston Fashion Week Presentation.

Get Ready To Be Transformed . . . Zack Lo Shoes Joining Fashion Line Up for “Anomaly”
Zack Lo Shoes to Add Sexy Spark to Runway During Boston Fashion Week, Joining Daniel Hernandez' "Anomaly" Presentation on September 27, 2011
Accomplished shoe designer Zack Lo doesn’t hesitate to describe what influences his
collections, from memories of his former life in London to current experiences here. Featured recently in Glamour Magazine, his shoes have been sported at Cannes Film Festival, worn by television, film and Broadway stars, and by fashion-conscious women across the globe. His new collection for 2012 combines varying textures, colors, and materials in ways that are uniquely feminine and timely. Inspired by vintage designs, these shoes reflect what has endured and remained beautiful in the fashion world--old Hollywood glamour, grace and feminine mystique.
“Fashion has a transforming ability to allow women to express all that they are feeling,” suggests Zack. “One day a princess, the next day--a president. Good fashion provides women with as many options as they like to express themselves. My shoes have a unique point of view, but are also extremely comfortable. The first time a woman tries on my shoes, she already knows why they are different. Wearing my shoes brings immediate attention
to whoever is wearing them. Rock star, CEO, or goddess … my shoes are a fashion
platform from which to play many roles.”
Zack Lo is often asked, “What dress am I going to wear with THESE shoes?” Answers to be revealed at “Anomaly,” DH Studios event: September 27, 2011, VENU, 100 Warrenton Street, Boston.
