Detroit: Time Impact Analysis with Microsoft Project
Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM (EDT)
Project Managers are eager to accept additional challenges. Experience has the seasoned manager under committing and over delivering as opposed to the alternative of over committing and under delivering. There are real world processes and tools in place that help the project manager understand make realistic commitments. Before commitments to accept extra work are communicated, there exists a best practice to understand and analyze the impact of a change to the work.
A formal Time Impact Analysis spells out the best practice for taking on more work, a change, and reasonable communicating the impact. This analysis is performed easily with Microsoft Project.
This presentation explains the Time Impact Analysis and how Microsoft Project’s scheduling tool help’s project managers make realistic commitments.
