This 4-day conference will cover the following topics:
 
  • Feb. 10 MEGA Resource panel, Leveraging city departments
  • Feb. 11 Importance of joining a neighborhood Business Association and
  • Basic Real Estate Law
  • Feb. 12 Business Financials & Business Taxes Made Simple
  • Feb. 13 Food Service industry Resources

On February 12th, hear from a SCORE expert as well as a former IRS agent on how to avoid an audit and meeting tax law requirements.

February 13th is highlighting local food service resource providers - FoodLab Detroit and Detroit Kitchen Connect. This will be an engaging, highly interactive session with a panel discussion.

Keynote address given by Donald Snider, President, MetroBusiness Connect LLC and former Senior Vice President, Urban Economic Development, Michigan Economic Development Corp.
 
Plus, several opportunities to connect with other small business owners including the Closing Reception, Judge Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights, 471 W. Palmer, February 13th at 4:00pm-6:00pm (Due to space restrictions, MUST email rkinnie@miceed.org to register)
