Detroit Bike City presents the Detroit Beautification Project Official Bike Tour

Detroit BIke City is proud to announce the Detroit Beuatification Project official Bicycle tour. You ask what is the Detroit Beautification Project? Hamtramck-based arts group Contra Projects and the owners of Royal Oak-based 323East gallery, together created the Detroit Beautification Project.
A total of about 35 artists from all over the world came together to create this amazing project. All together, visitors from as far away as Germany have put up about 85 pieces. However, only 20 locations were painted specifically as part of the Beautification Project. We will start the tour in Eastern Market at 11 AM. We go from there to Hamtramck and back in about 3 hours. The tour is under 20 miles but please be prepared to ride 20. Helmets are required. At the end of the ride included in your admission is a half sandwich, fries and choice of MIchigan beer at McShane's Pub located on Michigan Ave. and Trumbull across from old Tiger Stadium. Along the way there will also be FREE Vitamin Water stations.
Admission is $30
Tickets available in advance at Eventbrite or you can pay day of. If you choose to pay day of please make arrangements here to reserve your spot due to the fact that each week caps off at 25 riders.
