Join instructor Luz Flemming as he guides you to create simple yet well-crafted furnishings to take home. Many of the projects are derived directly from Italian designer Enzo Mari’s Autoprogettazione DIY furniture designs, featured in Socrates spring exhibition do it (outside).

A small materials fee is required.
Space is limited and registration will be on a first come, first served basis.

Reduced fee is available for those that would like to take advantage of more than one workshop:

Socrates Sculpture Park

Socrates Sculpture Park is the only site in the New York Metropolitan area specifically dedicated to providing artists with opportunities to create and exhibit large-scale sculpture and multi-media installations in a unique outdoor environment that encourages strong interaction between artists, artworks and the public. The Park's existence is based on the belief that reclamation, revitalization and creative expression are essential to the survival, humanity and improvement of our urban environment.

Founded in 1986, Socrates is celebrating its 25th year of exhibitions and programming. During this 25-year period, the Park has been host to over 900 artists facilitatiing the production and exhibition of outdoor artworks. We would like to thank all our supporters, artists, performers, teachers, and public for making Socrates Sculpture Park a very special place.

Please join us for our exhibition openings, workshops, special events, and more! We look forward to seeing you at Socrates.
