The Higher Ed Redesign Initiative explores ways to transform higher education to meet the needs of students, the workforce, and society. The project is founded on “design thinking for social innovation,” which employs design tools to create new
prototypes to address persistent problems in higher education.
The initiative partners, together with the University of Minnesota’s Center for Integrative Leadership, invite you to join us for a hands-on design thinking workshop to create an inspired future for higher education. Participants will learn about the design process and apply it to creating more equitable, affordable, and high quality higher education.
Results of this workshop will inform the next steps of the Higher Ed Redesign Initiative in meeting its goals:
- Develop innovative strategies to transform higher education
- Involve students and families more actively as stakeholders of higher education
- Accelerate cultural change through leadership development and policy in higher education
- Create an expanded toolbox by applying design thinking to institutions and systems in higher education
- Contribute to new knowledge in the emerging field of design thinking and education
The workshop is free but space is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Details about the program follow.
