How design technology is transforming the art of visual effects

This Design Night spotlights movies that blow our minds. We’re talking mesmerizing visual effects, from middle earth and outer space to superheroes and subhumans. Gone are the days of strings on model airplanes and people in foam rubber. Today’s technology enables worlds to be created that seem more real than our own. So if you want some serious escapism hit the hyper-speed button and warp over to Design Night, where you’ll be amazed by:

  • A talk by Rich McBride, visual effects supervisor for Framestore, on Gravity
  • Fun with a green screen
  • And much more!
Price of admission includes open bar, food, activities, and access to exhibits.
