When & Where
This camp will be led by Head Coach, Nadia Edwards, her assistant coaches and current players will also be camp clinicians. Edwards, a Frankfort, Ill. native, is entering her sixth season as the DePaul head volleyball coach. Edwards has come from a strong pedigree of Volleyball. She was a middle blocker at Penn State and was part of the team to win the program’s first National Championship in 1999. Edwards then continued her career at the professional level playing for the USPV and overseas in Spain and in Switzerland.
Before returning home to Chicago, Edwards served an assistant at both Ohio State University and Ohio University. Edwards played a strong role in turning around both programs, helping the Bobcats of Ohio University to advance to the Sweet 16 for the first time in program history and assisting the Buckeyes in moving up the Big Ten rankings and advancing through the NCAA tournament.
Over the past five years at the helm of the DePaul Volleyball program, Edwards has changed the culture. Each season the Blue Demons continue to show improvement and have laid a solid foundation for continued success in the future. With her experience of wining and rebuilding teams along with her dynamic staff, Edwards continues to strive to put DePaul back on the map and lead the Blue Demons to a Big East Championship and NCAA berth.
