Join Shift Workspaces on the final day of Denver Coworking Week, as we feature interactive sessions on Sustaining a Healthy Work/Life Balance for busy professionals and small businesses. From nutrition and wellness, to desk ergonomics and time management, we’ll provide tips from experts and even from our own member community. All mobile workers, entrepreneurs, business professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about coworking are invited to these free events. Your ticket allows you free access to any and all events at this location on this day.
8:00am - 5:30pm: Free Coworking
Bring your laptop and work in our shared space, anytime between the hours of 8 am & 5:30 pm.
9:00 am: Bagel & Fruit Breakfast
Start your work day off with a healthy breakfast. We’ll provide Bagels, cream cheese, fruit, yogurt, granola, and of course our own awesome coffee.
11:00 am: Stephanie Wachman: Time Management for the Busy Professional
12:00 pm: Lunch in a Pinch
Sample some great options for quick and nutritional lunch choices for when you’re on the go.
1:00 pm: Stretching for Sitters
Join our yoga experts for a short instruction on some great stretching exercises to do if you sit in front of a computer a lot. Stop by for 5 mins or for the full 30.
2:00-2:30 pm: The Importance of Ergonomics
Stop by Conference Room A for a quick demonstration on the importance of ergonomics. Rachael from HumanScale will show you correct sitting and standing positions while working at a computer, and how it can benefit your health and productivity.
4:00pm: Happy Hour
Mingle and meet other coworkers while enjoying gourmet snacks and adult beverages, including beer from our kegerator.
5:30pm: Kickball at Alamo Placita Park
What better way to burn off some energy (and beer calories) after a long day of work? Join the Denver Coworks Alliance as we play a spirited game or two of kickball.
