The Duke Start-Up Challenge, founded in 1999, is designed to help Duke's entrepreneurship community flourish, with a year long entrepreneurship competition followed by an accelerator program. This year, we are extending the Start-Up Challenge into the summer as well as providing a platform to help each team raise money for this summer program. The teams have created Indiegogo campaigns that you can use in order to fund your favorite teams, too! In order to do so, visit http://www.indiegogo.com/partners/duke.
All Duke students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and the general public are welcome to join us for the Demo Day for the 15th Annual Duke Start-Up Challenge. Over 100 Duke teams entered the Duke Start-Up Challenge this year. We will be giving out Audience Choice prizes as well as Judges' Choice prizes, so in addition to seeing the great minds of Duke on display, we will see some great teams get funding.
To see a video preview of the teams, visit Duke's Indiegogo Partner Page. http://www.indiegogo.com/partners/duke
This event will be at the Fuqua School of Business in HCA Auditorium and McClendon Auditorium, with about 15 teams in each room.
