Delicious Reality is the culmination of an innovative collaboration between TeAda Productions, Restaurant Opportunities Centers – Los Angeles (ROC-LA), and Southeast Asian Community Alliance (SEACA) bringing artists, youth, and restaurant workers together in workshops to share their experiences in a safe space that explore the issues, conditions, and challenges working in today’s restaurants. This fundraiser supports these three organizations in empowering low-income youth, restaurant workers and community-based ensemble theater. The event includes a talk back with members of all three organizations and hors d’oeuvres donated by high road restaurants.*
*Taking the High Road to profitability is a term used by ROC-LA for restaurants that use an ethical, pragmatic, and profitable approach to doing business that benefits employers, employees, and the community.
We can’t have this celebration without YOU.
