“The Truth and Consequences of Housing Discrimination: A Training Conference for Residents and Government Leaders”
The 19th Annual Fair Housing Conference
April is Fair Housing Month! The month provides the occasion to increase awareness of fair housing. The fair housing laws protect against unlawful discrimination, eliminate barriers to fair housing choice and strengthen the economic stability of communities throughout the state and nation.
In Delaware, the State Human Relations Commission and Division of Human Relations are responsible for enforcing the fair housing laws. Annually the Division sponsors a fair housing conference to help Delawareans access fair housing information, resources and training. This year the conference is planned to help attendees better understand the truth and consequences of housing discrimination.
