Deep Dive: Procedurally Generated Music with Disasterpeace

Microsoft :: 1290 Avenue of the Americas, 6th floor

The intersection of music and gameplay is an area still ripe for innovation. Games like Rez, Sound Shapes, Dyad, and Dance Central have amassed loyal followings by pushing our interactive medium further into the realm of music.

Rich Vreeland (better known as Disasterpeace) has composed soundtracks for critically acclaimed indie games such as FEZ and his most recent project, January, explores procedurally generated music.

Join us as Disasterpeace walks us through his inspiration, process, and answers any of your questions.

Seats are limited. Tickets are $20 but will go to $30 week of the event.
