Building Capacity: Empowering DEC Coordinators and Executive Directors
Sponsored by New York State Council on the Arts
Gideon Putnum Spa Resort
April 28th- April 30th, 2013
The Decentralization Program and its network of Coordinators has become more essential than ever in supporting local community organizations and artists, especially with the economic downturn and general funding challenges in the arts. With this in mind, the DEC Coordinator is well positioned in the community to help NYSCA and their own arts organization achieve the greatest impact from their re-granting role.
This conference offered by the New York Council of Nonprofits and New York State Council on the Arts offers DEC Coordinators professional development and tools and information to better implement their essential roles in supporting and strengthening the arts in communities across New York State. A new addition this year will be involving DEC Executive Directors in the first half of the Retreat. Each DEC Executive Director and DEC Coordinator are asked to complete the registration and make your reservation to attend.
A Conference Agenda will be available shortly.
