THE FANTASTIC HOSTS PRESENT
DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY
with ELITE FORCE
November 2, 2013
America’s War of the Rebellion ends with the Union’s defeat of the Confederacy. The Grim Reaper turns his attention to some heroic skirmishes on the Plains, and then across the border to the final days of Mexican Empire. The reaping has been good… very good… and Death returns to his netherworld kingdom with a bounty of souls for his mistress Mictecacihuatl. Desiring a change of scenery, the deathly duo hitch a ride on Captain Nemo’s Nautilus for an extended tryst in New Orleans. Wandering the Vieux Carré they happen into a smashing voodoo lounge, where the good times are so incredibly Fantastic they summon their favorite souls to join them from the spirit world. Laissez les bons temps rouler.
Join us for a Día de Muertos celebration like no other. Our FANTASTIC band of merrymakers takes you on an adventure across the badlands of Mexico, then 200 leagues under the sea to the sophisticated pleasures of New Orleans.
We're pleased to welcome back Elite Force (U&A RECORDINGS) to captain this heroic occasion, and also debut Karl Sav, Australia's greatest breakbeat export to Denver... along with the rocksteady crew of Fantastic regulars.
Great schemes are in the works to make this a night to remember. And in our customary Fantastic tradition, we look forward to seeing all of you decked out in your costumed finery. Stay tuned for more details!
Additional musical fare will be provided by:
Just Ben vs. Citrus
AS ALWAYS, 21+ ONLY.
