Saint Louis University’s John Cook School of Business invites you and a guest to the next installment of the Dean’s Breakfast Series on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 7:30 a.m at the John and Lucy Cook Hall.
Join the Cook School community in welcoming General Paul J. Selva, Commander for America's Worldwide Air Mobility Command, for a special presentation entitled "Developing a Culture of Innovation to Counter Rising Costs."
The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a continental networking breakfast. General Selva’s presentation will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. followed by a question and answer period.
Complimentary parking is available in the University’s Olive/Compton Garage (3338 Olive Blvd. 63103) or Laclede Garage (3642 Laclede Ave. 63108). Your parking ticket will be validated at the event.
About the Speaker
As Commander -- the CEO -- of America’s worldwide Air Mobility Command, General Selva is responsible for more than 132,000 employees and billions of dollars of equipment. His 24/7 challenge is to assure worldwide passenger and cargo delivery, air refueling and aeromedical evacuation, all without advance notice, under the harshest conditions, absolutely everywhere in the world.
General Selva trained as an aeronautical engineer and has earned advanced degrees in management and human relations and in political science. He was selected as a National Defense Fellow and has served as Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon. General Selva has logged more than 3,100 hours as pilot and command pilot in a range of heavy-duty and long-range aircraft.
