At the Tiger Woods Foundation (TWF), we believe every child deserves an opportunity to go to college. Our college-access programs reach underserved youth in all stages of academic life. For young people in grades 5-12, the Tiger Woods Learning Centers provide hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering and math coupled with college preparation workshops to create a unique environment focused on college and careers. The Earl Woods Scholarship Program is an unparalleled network providing admissions counseling, college scholarships, dedicated mentors, specialized internships and vital workshops. Receiving individualized support, our bright young scholars are succeeding at prestigious universities such as Georgetown, Harvard, UC Berkeley, Columbia and UCLA.  For more information on our programs, please visit tigerwoodsfoundation.org.

Program Background

The TWF Career & College Conference focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) will be a half-day of hands-on specialized instruction, offering a range of career and college preparation workshops for middle and high school students, their parents and educators. 

Workshops

Organizations will host workshops and/or have a booth at our expo. The primary goal of the STEM Career Conference is to inspire students to learn about various industries in these fields and discover possible career paths. Parents are also invited to attend and learn how to support students in their desire to pursue college for a STEM career. There will be a customized track of concurrent workshops for students and parents. The program is open to students in 7th through 12th grade and parents. 

The program is free to attend and continental breakfast and lunch will be provided for all participants. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., with program starting at 9:00 a.m.
