Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 10:45 AM to 2:00 PM (EDT)
JOIN US FOR A SPECTACULAR EVENT HONORING THE WOUNDED WARRIORS
On June 4th DC Foodies Do Good will have the honor and privilege of serving those who serve us and this country. We will be preparing an extraordinary lunch for these fine men and women as they enjoy time with their families and friends while recuperating at the world famous Walter Reed Hospital.
Please put on your culinary hat and join us in sharing good food with these most honorable Americans.
We are very exciting to again be participating with the Yellow Ribbon Fund. The Yellow Ribbon Fund was created in 2005 to assist our injured service members and their families while they recuperate at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center.

Please be creative with your green salads (can be more then lettuce!) and the ‘creative salads’ – grains, pasta, beans, veggies…please do not duplicate the main ingredient in someone else’s creative salad.
Please bring serving utensils and present it on a nice dish or platter. We prefer the dish to be homemade, but do understand if you have time constraints.
