Day of Mobile
Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM (CST)
Day of Mobile is an all day event for mobile developers that will take place at IIT on March 6, 2009. It will begin with a breakfast at 8am and conclude after a keynote speech and hackathon awards ceremony at 4pm.
Throughout the day, there will be 100 and 300 level talks running concurrently with one another to accommodate developers of all skill levels (the talks will take place in two ballrooms adjoining one another). The talks will be covering topics related to four development platforms (Android, iPhone, Windows Mobile and Blackberry).
Aside from the main talks, we will also include workshops where attendees can be hands on with subject matter experts. These workshops will be for groups of 5-20 and will held in one of two breakaway rooms that we have also secured for the event.
Finally, we will have a hackathon were developers can form teams in advance of the conference and compete for awards by developing mobile applications. The contest winners will be named at the end of the day, right before the keynote speech. The hackathon will be judged by a panel of mobile development experts.
