Join us as Trinity’s annual marriage conference continues with Dan Zink.
Dan is an associate professor of practical theology at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, focusing on marriage and family counseling. As both a teacher and a counselor, Dan’s main focus is to help people recognize that the Lordship of Christ is really true – particularly so in the hard things of life.
“In the midst of a cynical and technological society we forget that connection and attachment are the necessary ingredient, goal and nutrient for the best marriages. Connection is built through everyday small steps and heart to heart conversations. Yet, many are hindered or damaged in their ability to do so through life’s challenges and traumas. The result is an unnamed sense that being known is unsafe, being dependent is wrong, receiving is scary and that any risk in relationships is to be avoided.”
