Your Dj's:

{}]] BENNY BINAH [[{}

aka: A Queen Aminah vs. Jenn Lullaby

Plock Party / Get Nyce Inc.

Music makes the world go round and these Bad-Ass bodacious babes keep the records spinning on the funkiest of tips. The Brooklyn-bred duo was born to boogie the night away with their eclectic blend of house, techno, soul and throwbacks. The grooves they spin are deep and the funk is never –ending so fighting the urge to move your feet is bootless.
Lullaby is a singer, dancer, DJ and writer who is filled with immense cutting-edge style and musical talent.
A Queen Aminah reps Plock Party and the art collective The House That Love Built and is determined to inspire all young women working to break barriers, create their own path and rock what makes them unique inside and out.
A night with these sistas of soul is a night to be remembered.

{}]] MESHUGS [[{}

The capo dei capi of La Kosher Nostra, Dan Meshugs is no stranger to making people on the dance floor move. After his first rave party back in 1997 in the basement of John Esposito in Bay Shore, he was hooked. Eventually in 2001 he decided to give DJing a try himself because how else was he going to get a woman to fall for him? However, as fate would have it, he returned from a few years away in Israel to a storage unit that was broken into and ransacked. He vowed never to invest as much time, money, or emotion into a hobby again, even if it did come with a bevy of women and free alcohol. Fast forward to 2012. By special request from his good friend Val, he played a DJ set for her birthday. Well this is the one case where a relapse is a good thing because he was addicted once again. And while on break, the wonderful digital age came along which made it so anyone with an internet connection and a little bit of time could become a DJ. Now 2 years later, he has been known to rock floors for his main crew BP² as well as SOUP, Konkrete Jungle, and Remedy to name a few. No stranger to any genre, you might just hear some speed garage or UK Breaks dropped mid set. One thing is for certain, when Meshugs is in the building things tend to get a little crazy.
