Legendary Blues singer Ellington "Fuji" Jordan is headlining a Mega-Blues concert on May 25th at Woodward Park Ampitheatre. "Fuji" is known worldwide for his songwriting and soul inspiring voice. He wrote the song "I'd Rather Be a Blind Man", which has been re-recorded by legendary artists such as Beyonce, Etta James, Rod Stewart, Fleetwood Mac, and B.B. King. "Da Blues" concert will showcase his newest album, Almost Home, as well as some of his classic songs when associated with the famouse funk group band, Black Merda. Also performing is the beautiful and talanted Fresno native and Jazz musician/singer Jeanette Harris. Other musicians scheduled to perform are Lo Down Bobby Brown and Baby B & The Goodfellas.
