D2W & MuraCon2013 September 30 & October 1.
D2W, the 4th annual Designer, Developer and workflow conference and MuraCon have paired up to make the conference even bigger this year. To start, we are on the Plaza again this year but at the Intercontential Hotel this time. We have great location, rooms, and some of *the* best speakers in the country (and beyond).
September 30 and Oct 1: 9-5
There will be UX designer, developer and we are assuming mobile this year for all sessions. D2wc.com for more details on sessions.
Workflow is what we do. Day in and day out, although you may not think about it like that. Do you work with multiple applications during the day? Do you work with a developer or designer (depending on which you are)? Then that is what the D2W is all about.
We will have 2 tracks, with 50 minute sessions, and able to sign up for both MuraCon2013 and D2W sessions. So you’ll either sign up as a UX, designer, developer and we are assuming mobile for all sessions. Besides all the sessions centering around workflow between apps and designers/developers and a ton of UX sessions this year.
MuraCon is the only user conference dedicated to Mura CMS. You'll get 2 days of presentations by Mura CMS team members and the best the Mura CMS community has to offer.
October 2 - Hands-on Workshop
Introduction to Responsive Web Design for Designers
This one-day seminar for designers covers how to apply the principles of good user and experience (UX) and interaction design (IXD)across a range of devices, from smartphones to tablets to laptops, and it prepares you to craft designs that work seamlessly across different screen sizes. We will discuss using grids and breakpoints, navigation, content layout and scaling, and effective responsive design patterns in the context of a hands-on project where you'll create a simple responsive prototype.
Dave will be using an in-browser tool called webflow, but you can also use Edge Reflow by Adobe if you are a Creative Cloud member.

This event is being hosted at VML.
