Event Details

Cyberbullying is hurtful, difficult to track down, and allows individuals participating in it to hide behind the "cloud" in their anonymity. This affects students both at home and carries over to the school setting.
--Sandy Morley, principal, Bethlehem Middle School

What makes cyberbullying a threat to your child? How can parents protect their kids?

The Times Union invites parents to learn how to recognize signs your child may be targeted, what proactive measures you can take and where to get help. Teenagers will demonstrate how social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Formspring are used to cyberbully.

Come to The College of Saint Rose and hear from experts why cyberbullying is much more dangerous than the bullying you may have encountered when you were in school.

Schedule:

6:30 pm: Doors open

7-8:30 pm: Panel discussion and Q/A with audience at the Touhey Forum, Lally Building.
