CYA Your Startup

No matter how unique your startup is there are common questions that all startup companies need answered.

Should I get a patent?

When do I need insurance?

When should I get incorporated?

How do I hire quality people?

Do I have to pay taxes?

Come learn from experts in legal and startup accounting in a unique format. This is not the typical panel discussion where you take notes and listen. Think speed dating meets startup experts. We place experts at tables and let you go to them and ask the questions you need answered.

Cocktail meet and greet hosted by Orrick: 6:30-6:50

Black Founders

The Black Founders mission is to deepen the pipeline of minority tech talent and increase the number of successful black entrepreneurs in technology. Our goal is to create an ecosystem that stimulates entrepreneurship and fosters economic growth. We do this through events that create tech community connections, programs at historically black colleges and universities that introduce students to technology careers, and programs that help entrepreneurs move from idea to execution and find support at every stage.

Black Founders is a 501c3 organization. For more information, please visit www.blackfounders.com
