The Academy of Brera, the Corcoran College of Art + Design, and the Giuseppe and Gina Flangini Cultural Association present the join exhibition, ARE WE WHAT WE EAT? Sustainability and Art, on view in Milan, Italy and Washington, D.C. Curated by art critic and historian, Antonio D'Avossa, the exhibition features the work of Italian and American students & professors at Brera and the Corcoran. After a semester of artistic and cultural exchange, the artwork created investigates the theme of nutrition in terms of culture, necessity, pleasure, awareness, and mental/physical well-being. On this evening, Professor D'Avossa will discuss the exhibition in a public lecture. A reception in Gallery 31 follows.
