What is it?
An afternoon of provoking talks and lively debate about the future of culture. You can get a taste of the previous event on the Culture Hack website. If you'd like to take part in the full Hack, then please register here: http://culturehacknorth2011.eventbrite.com/
What to expect?
Each speaker will speak for around 5 minutes. There will be around 9 speakers in total, with a chance for debate and discussion in between talks.
Who should attend?
Anyone with an interest in the how technology can change the arts.
NB, if you’re a developer, booked onto the whole weekend with a developer ticket, you don’t need to register again for the talks. If you’ve booked as a cultural ticket, expect an email from us soon!
We've got an amazing line-up of speakers, including:
Rohan Gunatillake on What if the world really is going to end in 2012?
Natasha Carolan on What if you made yourself a souvenir?
Matt Edgar on What if you could see inside buildings?
Lucy Bannister on What if we got rid of copyright?
Helen Harrop on What if we released our personal data openly?
An open mind, brilliant ideas, a pen to write things on a post-it note.
Due to limitations in the venue, we can now only have 35 attendees. If you can no longer use your ticket, please let us know and we can allocate one to someone on the waiting list.
