Culinary Tour to India

Rajasthan: Rekindling the romance of a bygone era

January 21st – 29th, 2014

Set on this historic stage are elements of fantasy, the land of the kings, forts, palaces, Rajasthan  is an exotic and colorful state in India. In the royal kitchens of Rajasthan, food was raised to the level of an art-form. Hundreds of cooks worked in the stately palaces and kept their recipes a secret.  We will get an in depth understanding of this region and its cooking techniques from Rajasthan’s royalty themselves!

We begin our journey in the capital city of India, New Delhi, followed by four exotic destinations in Rajasthan:

Jaipur, the pink city; Bikaner, the camel country; Jodhpur, the sun city; and Udaipur,

the oasis in the desert.

Kerala: Rejuvenate and recharge  in God’s own country

January 30th – February 7th, 2014

All five senses will come alive in this exotic land! Meet, eat and drink with local farmers,

prominent chefs and rural villagers as they open their homes and hearts to you. With each day become more proficient in the use of prized local spices and art of Ayurvedic cooking. All this close to nature, yet in the lap of ultimate luxury and hospitality of the warm people of Cochin, Munnar, Kumarakom, Alleppey, and Marari.
