You'll get to taste samples of signatures dishes, tantalizing desserts, delicious and diverse offerings from the top participating restaurants.
The Ybor City Culinaria Experience from May 18-27 takes this opportunity a step further and offers you the chance to actually meet the Chefs at various Ybor restaurants and even participate in a cooking seminar with them! The goal of the 10 day event is to emphasize the history of Ybor City, the many dining opportunities there, and increase foot traffic into and around the district.

Meet Chef David, hailing from Long Island’s local fishing communities, who cut his teeth on the local seafood harvested from the Long Island Sound, Great South Bay, and chilly waters of the Atlantic Ocean. He was formally trained the N.Y.I.J. Culinary Arts Center and became the Corporate Chef for “75 Main” in South Hampton, L.I, overseeing fine waterfront restaurants. After a brief time at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center as Chef of Operations, David returned to Ocean Beach, Fire Island, NY as the Executive Chef of Houser’s Hotel and Hideaway. Now the Chef has returned to Ybor City to share twenty years of original seafood recipes at Sunday’s Fine Dining.
