Event Details

The Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture's 8th annual Sunday Supper fundraiser convenes farmers market lovers, chefs, farmers, food artisans, wine makers and distillers for a gala reception and four-course whole-beast feast to benefit our work in educating eaters and supporting farmers.

5:30 pm, Reception in the Ferry Building Marketplace:  $75
5:30 - 9:30 pm, Reception in the Marketplace & Supper in the Grand Hall:  $200

During the reception in the Ferry Building Marketplace, 30 Bay Area chefs will prepare sumptuous hors d'oeuvres, five distilleries will create farmers' market cocktails, and local wineries will offer their libations.

Guests who are staying for supper join a communal table in the Ferry Building Grand Hall to enjoy a distinct, succlent, four-course meal prepared by one of six chef teams. The entree course will feature a whole beast carved tableside, be it feathered, finned, or hoofed.
Wine and beer are paried with each menu by a guest sommelier. Vegetarian meals are available upon advanced request, and we make every effort to accomodate dietary restrictions. Just let us know in advance when you register.

We'll also be drawing the names of the four winners of our Year of Dining Out Raffle, auctioning a few fabulous prizes, and hearing from fourth generation rice farmer Greg Massa of Massa Organics.

We hope this impressive list of participating chefs--and the knowledge that your contribution supports a sustainable food system--will entice you to join us!
