Cub Scout Day Camp returns again this year in mid-June at Camp Brorein, Edward Medard Park in Plant City and Sertoma Youth Ranch in Brooksville. Along with our traditional BBs, archery and wrist rockets, we will be embarking on a brand new Cub Scout program. Each Cub Scout will have the chance to earn the NEW BSA NOVA Award. Webelos will also be earning their own version of the NOVA award. Since their requirements take longer than a week, each Webelos will leave with their completions and what else they need to do to receive the Webelos NOVA Award.
We invite parents and guardians to join us as a member of the staff or a parent volunteer assisting the staff. To ensure a safe and successful Summer Camp program, we ask each pack to provide one (1) adult volunteer for every four (4) Cub Scouts attending camp.
To register, simply select the number of each type of tickets you want to purchase, any extra T-shirts beyond the one each participant gets when registering. Once you have made your ticket and additional choices, please click on the Order button. On the next screen, you will enter your payment information, T-shirt size for each Scout and general information for each Scout. When you're finished with your order, just click the "Pay Now" button and your order will be processed.
In order to have an effective camp experience, we ask that each participating pack provide one volunteer for every four Cub Scouts attending camp. Also, please download the new 2014 version of the Annual Health and Medical Record and bring a completed copy of Parts A and B only for each participating Scout. We are trying to promote broad socializing amongst the packs in the districts. Campers will be divided intoTiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos dens of equal numbers.
