Deuteronomy 9:1-3 The Message
Attention, Israel! This very day you are crossing the Jordan to enter the land
and dispossess nations that are much bigger and stronger than you are.
You're going to find huge cities with sky-high fortress-walls and gigantic people . . .

Today know this: God, your God, is crossing the river ahead of you-he's a consuming fire.
He will destroy the nations, he will put them under your power.
You will dispossess them and very quickly wipe them out, just as God promised you would.

In the book of Joshua, chapter 4, the Israelites were told to bring stones out of the Jordan River and to lay them out in the place of their lodging after crossing into the land of promise.  These stones were to be a "memorial" to the generaions yet to come of God's miraculous parting of the waters for their "crossing over" into the Promised Land.  As we have prayed and prepared for this convocation, we have sensed the Lord prompting us to have everyone, or at least every family, bring a memorial stone (no bigger than fist size, please!) to lay out as a testimony and memorial to the faithfulness of our God who has opened up the rushing waters of our "Jordan Rivers" and allowed us to "cross over" into this season of promise.

Together, they are senior ministers of The City Gate with Purpose based in Southaven, Mississippi.
Jacquie Tyre is the founder of Kairos Transformation Ministries & CityGate Atlanta, an apostolic training center in metro-Atlanta.  Jacquie had an encounter with the Lord 25 years ago that radically shifted her relationship with the Lord from one of tradition and safety, to passionate pursuit to live fully awakened in Holy Spirit to be and to do all He had purposed for her life.  This passion spills over to others as she seeks to inspire and provide a place of where each person can discover and grow into walking out God's destiny.
Jacquie's passion is to see awakening and reformation come to cities, states and nations.  As a young college student, she had an open vision with the word "REVIVAL" spelled  out over her head in block letters and a deep sense of a calling to revival.  While at that time, she certainly had little to no understanding of what this meant, the impact of the Lord's calling and only grown stronger and become more defined over the years.
Jacquie convenes and speaks at conferences and seminars to train, equip and mobilize God's people.  She has authored two prayer guides, The Jabez Prayer Guide and Ready for Revival, and numerous magazine aritcles.  Her latest article will appear in the January-February 2013 edition of PrayerConnect Magazine. She is currently working on another book which she hopes to have published in 2013.
Jacquie has been married to her high-school sweetheart, Mike, for 35 years and they have three grown sons, two daughter-in-laws, two puppies and one grand-puppy!  Mike and Jacquie love to travel, enjoy fine dining and the beach!
