Workday Information

Who: Volunteers of all ages are welcome; minors under 18 require a signed waiver and children 12 require an accompanying adult unless prior approval is obtained from the workday supervisor. Groups can contact Claire Elliott  (clairee@acterra.org) for their own special program dates/hours.

What: Join us for a few hours of removing invasive broom from this tributary of Redwood Creek!  French broom is a prolific seeder and we are hoping to head off the seed bank by removing the plants before they start to flower.

Where:  We will meet across the street from 255 Harcross Road in Woodside (just down the road from  Adelante School).

Please bring: A reusable water bottle and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended). We provide gloves and tools. Minors under 18 must bring a waiver form signed by a parent.

PLEASE NOTE: When you complete your registration for this event, you DO NOT need to print a receipt or ticket.

Acterra Stewardship Program

Acterra Stewardship helps restore degraded habitats to promote healthier, more biologically diverse ecosystems, and uses habitat restoration as a vehicle to educate and inspire adults and youth to understand and appreciate the natural world - both its beauty and the important services it provides.
