Jeffrey OryGuest Presenter: PRSA Hawaii welcomes Jeffrey Ory, APR, ABC, president of il Stratega, a full-service communication and marketing firm in New Orleans. 

Ory’s experience includes work that has earned international awards for its success, and projects that earned more than 100 recognitions in the communication profession, including the PRSA Silver Anvil, IABC Gold Quill Award and the Jake Wittmer Research Award.

Ory is dually accredited in communication and public relations by PRSA and IABC. He is the past president of both organizations on the local level—the first and youngest person to ever be president of both local professional organizations. Ory is currently on the International Executive Board of IABC and is the past chair of the Gold Quill Awards Program, IABC’s global awards competition recognizing outstanding achievement in communication. He is also a current member of the Board of Directors for the Travel & Tourism Professional Interest Section of PRSA.

NOTE: This event also serves as our PRSA Hawaii Chapter General Membership Meeting. Outgoing President Rebecca Pang will give an update on the state of the chapter and the 2014 Board of Directors will be introduced.

Register online or for cash/check payments, please RSVP to programs@prsahawaii.org. Payment can be made at door on day of the event. Credit card payment will not be accepted at the door.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy:

Advance registration will close at 3 p.m. on the day prior to the event. Due to out-of-pocket expenses incurred, there is a $5 cancellation fee for reservations made via credit card. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the deadline. No-shows will be invoiced.

PRSA Hawaii

Founded in 1947, PRSA Hawaii is one of six founding chapters of the Public Relations Society of America. The chapter's mission is to build value, understanding, and the demand for public relations professionals in Hawaii.

PRSA Hawaii is committed to advancing the standards of the public relations profession and supporting students and young practitioners who are developing skills in the field. Professional development seminars, informational forums, skills workshops, and monthly luncheon programs are offered to over 300 public relations professionals and students across the state.

PRSA Hawaii is a vibrant organization comprised of an active nucleus on Oahu, a progressive affinity group on Maui, and over 100 members across the state. The organization also mentors two Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapters at Hawaii Pacific University and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
