Matteo Bologna is the founding partner and principal of Mucca Design in New York, where he also serves as Creative Director.

Under his direction, the Mucca Design team has solved numerous design challenges and created uniquely successful work for a wide variety of companies like Shinsegae, Victoria's Secret, Andre Balazs Properties, Barnes & Noble, Rizzoli, Starr Restaurants, Patina Restaurant Group, Adobe Systems and Target. His team designed the identities for a variety of now classic New York City destinations like Balthazar's and Pastis.

The work produced by the Mucca Design team has also been widely recognized by industry publications, competitions and exhibitions, including AIGA, Communication Arts, Eye, Graphis, HOW, PRINT, STEP, the Type Directors Club, the Art Directors Club.

Matteo is the Vice President of the Type Directors Club and former board member of AIGA/NY. He frequently lectures about branding and typography around the world. And his favorite food? Domino's pizza.

For over 40 years, the Gene Siskel Film Center of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago has been one of the most comprehensive film programs in the country, presenting premieres of new American and foreign films, revivals of classics, retrospectives, independent productions, and festivals of international scope. It also features over 100 personal appearances by prominent filmmakers annually.

In June 2001, the Film Center opened in its new location, at 164 N. State St. and was renamed in honor of the late film critic, Gene Siskel. With two state of the art auditoriums in the heart of Chicago's Theater District, the Gene Siskel Film Center is Chicago's Premier Movie Theater.

Nestled between the Lincoln Square and Ravenswood neighborhoods in Chicago, Neighborly is a small retail shop offering Mid-Century style home accessories and affordable artwork that fit in the urban, Midwest home. Neighborly was opened in late 2012 by Ork Posters, the typographic city neighborhood map makers. The success of Ork's Holiday Pop-Up shop is what inspired founders Jenny Beorkrem and Mary Beth Kapp to create Neighborly. The shop introduces Ork's "neighborly" ideals to the community and new artists, creating an inspiring and one-of-a-kind collection of modern, independent-made goods.

AIGA advances design as a professional craft, strategic advantage and vital cultural force. As the largest community of design advocates, they bring together practitioners, enthusiasts and patrons to amplify the voice of design and create the vision for a collective future. They define global standards and ethical practices, guide design education, inspire designers and the public, enhance professional development, and make powerful tools and resources accessible to all.

This Month's Theme: "Food"

CreativeMornings now hosts unified themes across our 40+ chapters. This month, over 5,000 attendees will meet up at CreativeMornings events on six continents for speakers that relate to our June theme, "Food."

Through these themes, we hope to stir up a global conversation among our fantastic, local creative communities.
