CreativeMornings/ATX with Austin Kleon on Friday, April 5, 2013.
Austin Kleon is a writer who draws, and he is our first choice to kick off CreativeMornings here in Austin.
Why our first choice? As a best-selling author and social media personality, he has raised the eyebrows of the creative community with his books Steal Like an Artist and Newspaper Blackout. He has drawn rapt audiences at TEDx, Pixar, Google, and SXSW (to name a few). And he was declared by The Atlantic to be "one of the positvely most interesting people on the Internet." And on top of that his name is Austin! How awesome is that?!
We sat down with Austin at Contigo to talk more about creativity, writing and his upcoming talk. Here's a taste of what to expect in a segment we're calling "Sidebar:"
"Go Missing from Work" from Austin Kleon's Newspaper Blackout
CreativeMornings/ATX is stoked to be hosted by the awesome folks at Frank Restaurant. If you thought they were just about amazing hot dogs & cold beer, wait until you try their coffee and breakfast tacos!
Based right here in Austin, Volusion gives online merchants the tools and skills they need to run a successful business.
